1. Who we are

This website is operated by 1000 Millionaires Club (“we”, “us”), based in India. For the personal data described in this policy, we are the Data Fiduciary under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

2. What we collect

We only collect the personal data you choose to give us through the enquiry form on our Join the Club page:

• Your name and email address
• Your phone number, if you provide it
• Which best describes you (for example founder, business owner, investor or professional) and what you are interested in
• Anything you write in the message field
• A record that you gave consent to be contacted, and when

To protect the form from spam, our server briefly keeps a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address to limit repeated submissions. It is not linked to your enquiry and is discarded within an hour.

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on this website. See our Cookie Policy.

3. Why we use it

We use the information you submit to:

• Respond to your enquiry and arrange any call you request
• Tell you about membership, mentorship, programs and events relevant to what you asked about
• Manage applications and membership approvals
• Keep a record of our correspondence with you

We process this data on the basis of your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box when you submit the form. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not use it for unrelated purposes.

4. Who we share it with

We share your data only with service providers who help us run the website and respond to you, and only for that purpose:

• Hostinger, which hosts this website and delivers form submissions to us
• Google, which provides the email inbox where we receive and answer enquiries

We do not share your details with other members, mentors or investors without first asking you. We may disclose data where required by law or by a competent authority, or to protect the rights and safety of our community.

5. Where your data is stored

Our service providers may store or process data on servers outside India. Where this happens, we only use providers that keep your data protected, and we do not transfer data to any country restricted under Indian law.

6. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data for as long as we need it to respond to you and manage any membership, and no longer than 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a member or the law requires us to keep it longer. After that it is deleted.

If you withdraw your consent, we will stop using your data and delete it unless we are legally required to keep it.

7. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act, you can:

• Ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we use it
• Ask us to correct, complete, update or erase your data
• Withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it
• Nominate another person to exercise your rights if you die or become unable to do so
• Raise a grievance with us, and if it is not resolved, complain to the Data Protection Board of India

To exercise any of these rights or raise a grievance, email 1000millionaireclub@gmail.com with the subject line “Privacy request”. We will respond as quickly as we can and within the time required by law. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before you withdrew it.

8. Security

We take appropriate measures to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, misuse or disclosure, including secure hosting, encrypted connections (SSL) and restricted access to enquiry records. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

9. Children

This website and our services are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10. Third-party links

Our website may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we recommend reviewing their privacy policies before sharing any personal information.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
